Prenatal + Postnatal
While we don’t currently offer dedicated prenatal classes on our regular schedule, we are very happy to support you throughout your pregnancy.
Several members of our teaching team are fully prenatal-trained, and others are experienced and confident in offering appropriate modifications within a general class setting. If you’re attending a regular class, simply let your teacher know you’re pregnant before we begin so they can guide you with suitable options throughout.
If you’re feeling unsure about how to adapt the practice for your changing body, we can always help facilitate a private session with one of our prenatal-trained teachers. A 1-1 class gives you the time and space to explore helpful modifications, build confidence and understand how to move safely and comfortably in our group classes.
If you have any questions before attending, please don’t hesitate to get in touch — we’re here to support you.

If you find yourself wanting shorter, more specific, tailored practices to support your body and mind through pregnancy — whether you’re moving with ease, preparing for labour, or simply looking for gentle, pregnancy-friendly classes — we also recommend our online offering at Basic Space at Home.
Our Prenatal Series is designed to support you through every stage of pregnancy, with both “Pregnancy Friendly” classes for early to mid-pregnancy and Prenatal classes that carry you through the later stages. The series includes a wide range of practices — from grounding restorative movement and breathwork to meditation and strength classes — helping you stay strong, relaxed and connected to your changing body.
